- ASI has developed a complete borrower self-service infrastructure for Sallie Mae. The effort included design, development and implementation of the Web, Mail and DNS services and related security. We also assisted Sallie Mae in development of a series of security standards and guidelines for access to student loan information.
- Rural Development works to make sure that rural citizens can participate fully in the global economy. The agency has an $86 billion dollar portfolio of loans and will administer nearly $16 billion in program loans, loan guarantees, and grants through various programs.ASI has recently provided expert support for a Security Test & Evaluation (ST&E) program, based on various NIST/FISMA guidelines for Rural Development. This assignment involved vulnerabilities discovery and analysis for Rural Development’s major mainframe and Web based applications as well as the related infrastructure. Once the security tests were completed and evaluation of policies and procedures was conducted, a report was prepared containing findings and recommendations.

ASI assists in uncovering predatory lending that can result, for example, in loans carrying unusually high interest rates, excessive points or fees, or prepayment penalties on loans that provide little economic benefit to the borrower.
- ASI’s Business Analysts work with FannieMae in preventing mortgage fraud whether perpetrated by a borrower, lender or an institution. These mortgage frauds may include inflated appraisals, false documentation such as employment stubs or Social Security numbers, or the misappropriation of mortgage funds.
